Children’s delicate skin is more sensitive to the sun’s rays, so they should be slathered in a high-factor sunscreen (at least SPF 15) – even when it’s overcast and especially when swimming. Always give careful attention to sunburn hot spots such as feet, shoulders, knees, neck, ears, and nose.

Pop a sun hat, sunglasses (with a CE mark to prove safe levels of UV and UVB protection) on your tot and a longsleeved T-shirt during the hottest time of the day (11am-4pm). Babyshop stocks sun umbrellas with UV protection.
