Fatma Al Bakry, 21, has been a free­lance pho­tog­ra­pher for fours years and founded her blog novem­berus.blogspot.com two years ago (it now gets 1,000 hits a week). The Omani mar­ket­ing stu­dent is based in Dubai and says fash­ion, mu­sic and art in­spire her work. “My pas­sion is pho­tog­ra­phy; my cam­era is prac­ti­cally glued to my hand,” she says. “I’m grate­ful to have found a hobby that has turned my life around.” As for her own style? “I love the ur­ban grunge look, which has in­spired my fash­ion picks for this fea­ture.”
