Georgia May Jagger, model and youngest daughter of Rolling Stones lead singer Mick and supermodel Jerry Hall

What’s the best part about being a Rimmel London ambassador alongside Rita Ora and Kate Moss?

I am really honoured and happy to be a part of the Rimmel family. I have always loved their products and had been using them for a long time before I became the face of the brand. The best part is getting to try all the make-up before it comes out in the shops. I love being able to share them with my friends and family. Their shoots are great fun, they have me do crazy fun things!

What determines beauty in your eyes?

I always say you look most beautiful when you are having fun and when you don’t care. I feel with make-up the best thing is just to have fun with it and not worry so much about what people think. Confidence is beautiful.

Who is your beauty icon?

I really love classic beauties like my mother. I just find her so beautiful with the perfect look. I also admire other classic Hollywood beauties like Katharine Hepburn, Louise Brooks and Grace Jones. More recently one of my other beauty icons is my friend Cara Delevingne.

What have you learnt from your mum Jerry Hall about applying make-up?

From the beginning she’s always been a big influence on my beauty look. For skincare I stick to the basics but for make-up, my mother and I both have a much more glamorous approach. We love to go all-out – red lipstick, doll lashes, plus long blonde hair, of course. In our family we’re definitely “more is more” rather than “less is more” when it comes to beauty! My mother also always tells me to drink lots of water and make sure to get enough sleep. It really works.

What products can’t you live without?

Without a doubt mascara. It makes everyone instantly more beautiful. At the moment I love the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara, it’s really great to recreate that iconic wide-eyed look. I also love lipstick and a perfect red lip, but depending on the season I like to experiment with other colours. Lipstick lets you be more creative but a good mascara can really change your face.

Talk us through your make-up bag

Mascara, the Rimmel BB blush is great because it’s a cream and you can use it on your lips as well if needed, I love products like that. Also a Tangle Teezer to get out all the matted hair I am often left with and make-up removal wipes. And a good SPF; I never go without sunscreen.

Have you ever had any beauty and fashion disasters?

I get to try lots of different products and sometimes I do get carried away. I try to remember my professional make-up sessions and tone it down a bit, to not have too many colours on my eyes and lips at once. I can be a bit pre-teen with my make-up choices sometimes!

Have you always loved to dress up?

Yes, absolutely, I always have. When I was younger I used to play dress-up all the time, especially in my mum’s clothes. [At work] I always have fun with my favourite stylist Victoria, getting our looks together, then I get to play different characters.

What’s your favourite fashion piece from this season?

The Alexander Wang Parental Advisory Sweatshirt.
