The article ‘Transform your life 1 per cent at a time’ (December 12) was very informative. I adopted this approach recently and it works. I’m a working woman who juggles family life. Finding time for myself can be difficult – but the 1 per cent principle helped me achieve what I wanted. Now by spending a small amount of time every day I’m able to do lots of things.

Let me begin by congratulating the entire Friday team for coming up with an edition that gets better every week. You have developed me as a person. Reading was something I never liked and now I look forward to Friday not because it’s a weekend, but because I’ll have a new issue of the magazine.

In last week’s issue, I was really impressed by the ‘Making a Difference’ feature on Toms (‘Making great strides’, December 12), the footwear company that gives away a pair of shoes to the needy for every pair it sells. What the company is doing is truly commendable and I am actually planning on buying a pair of Toms to show my support for the cause.

Another article that I liked was on how to transform our lives 1 per cent

Iwas interested in the interview with handwriting expert Janvi Gaur (‘What your handwriting reveals about you’, December 12). was a sceptic but after reading the article, I found myself analysing my scribble to see what it revealed. I hate to admit it, but her analysis was quite accurate.
