D imples, large green eyes and cheekbones you could shave Parmesan on – I had them all once but they’ve been obliterated by the passing years. Instead of crow’s feet I like to think I have laughter lines, and you can just about see my eyes peeking out behind the heavy hoods, but there’s really no mistaking the furrows in my forehead and the deep creases around my mouth. I have to face it – as the new year approaches, I need a new me!
I’m not alone – anti-ageing beauty products, non-invasive treatments and injectables and fillers are big business as we all try to beat the ravages of time. But what about carbon dioxide laser therapy and medicinal bullets that are fired into the skin? How far would you go to look younger in 2015?
Find out how the Friday team fared trying and testing a range of anti-ageing facials and therapies on page 84, along with the cutting-edge techniques you can opt for. Now that we’re all baby-faced we’ll be updating our wardrobes and following some of the new year style resolutions our readers made on page 78. I’m sure you’ll agree they look amazing and deserve to be the cover stars on our last issue of 2014.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the past year with Friday and look forward to a fabulous 2015. Happy New Year!
