f you’re hun­gry, haven’t had break­fast or are on a diet, here’s a public warn­ing: put Fri­day down and step away quickly. This week is our bumper food is­sue and it’s a siz­zler!

For starters we have a med­ley of Miche­lin-starred chefs – Gior­gio Lo­catelli (page 42) , Atul Kochhar (page 50), Vikas Khanna (page 46) and last but not least, Ja­son Ather­ton on page 36. If that hasn’t filled you up, then there’s plenty of main at­trac­tions: all the be­hind-the-scenes ac­tion at the Foodshala Sea­son 4 au­di­tions on page 30, and, on page 54, the un­usual way a real-life chef kicked all the bad kitchen habits that were lit­er­ally killing him.
