For Ra­madan, the award-win­ning restau­rant has given sus­tain­ably sourced seafood a fin­ger-lick­ing good Ara­bian spin. Set­ting the marine mood with fish­net-like chan­de­liers, ev­ery dish on the set menu has a quirky seafood-fu­sion el­e­ment to it, start­ing with the deca­dent fat­toush with baby squid and cut­tle­fish ink, and the mas­sive grilled tiger prawns with sumac, gar­lic aioli and lime. The hum­mus mixed with pine nuts and tuna belly and baba ganoush are no run-off-the mill ei­ther. Per­fectly cooked and del­i­cately spiced mixed seafood grill and seafood mach­boos make up the mains while the tast­ing dessert plat­ter of baklava, Turk­ish de­light, Umm Ali and sticky date and tof­fee pud­ding end a chic evening on a sweet high.
