Last week­end saw me ring in my 25th birth­day in the firm be­lief that you are never too old for birth­day cake. Last week I con­quered my fear of heights and flew in a hot air bal­loon for the very first time – with a falcon for com­pany. Ra­jasthan fea­tured on my must-see list for ages and I fi­nally man­aged to visit this stunning desert state. While I was im­pressed by its her­itage, es­pe­cially Jan­tar Man­tar (above), it was the lo­cal food – ker san­gri, laal maans – that I to­tally rel­ished. I could not have enough!
