Put your fuzzy slippers away and get a move on your New Year’s resolutions with the Sandstorm Marmoom endurance race and obstacle course at Al Qudra Lakes on February 10. Set across two distances (5k and 10k), four terrains, and more than 40 obstacles, the race offers prizes in four different categories. Participation is Dh350 for the 5k race, and Dh450 for the 10k race, including goodie bags. The race starts at 8am, register on sandstormdxb.ae. Dance to performances by Tom Jones, Mariah Carey, and Enrique Iglesias at this year’s Dubai Jazz Festival at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Supporting acts include The Rad Trads, Raul Midón and Nathan Sykes.
