It’s all about spreading One Love and good music at the Bob Marley Birthday Fest today. In an homage to the reggae legend’s 72nd birth anniversary, his son, Grammy-nominated reggae artist Ky-Mani Marley, will be headlining the concert at the Dubai International Marine Beach, which also includes performances by the Maestro band, Redemption Band and reggae DJs. Jam to hits like No Woman, No Cry and I Shot the Sheriff, then chow down on delish bites from TruckersDXB food trucks at the venue. Tickets from Dh125 at virginmegas; 21 years and above only.

Another Bob makes an appearance in Dubai – Bob Sinclar, the Grammy Award-nominated French DJ – who is performing at Billionaire Mansion at the Taj Hotel today. The record producer is known for reggaeinfluenced albums like Made in Jamaica and Disco Crash and collaborations with Madonna and Jamiroquai. From 10pm, call 04 510 3100 or email reservations@ billionairemansion

Equally feel-good but of a different vibe is Pandit Jasraj’s concert at Ductac’s Centrepoint Theatre in Mall of the Emirates today as part of the Emirates NBD Classics Concert Series. The Hindustani maestro will be joined on stage by Ratan Mohan Sharma, tabla player Ram Kumar Mishra, mridangam player Sridhar Parthasarathy and others. Tickets of Dh150, Dh200 and Dh300 available at Platinum Gates open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.
