It was a warm feel­ing to see that even with gloomy skies, a strong breeze, an im­mi­nent threat of rain, noth­ing could dampen the mood of the 50 peo­ple with in­tel­lec­tual dis­abil­i­ties – and hun­dreds of vis­i­tors who at­tended En­able’s first in­clu­sion fair in Dubai last week­end. En­able en­cour­aged spe­cial needs peo­ple to set up stalls sell­ing a va­ri­ety of prod­ucts – from vases and paint­ings to foun­tains and food. The event was on un­til 11pm – proof that when it comes to sup­port­ing ini­tia­tives, UAE res­i­dents give it their all.
