Home­grown cou­ture la­bel Amato has opened its first stand­alone store in Dubai De­sign Dis­trict: Amato Luxe. The brand – the brain­child of de­signer Furne One and tex­tile ex­pert Rashi Ali – started in 2002 in Dubai and has gone on to have huge suc­cess glob­ally, dress­ing Jen­nifer Lopez, Bey­oncé and Katy Perry. Known for out­ra­geous and avant­garde de­signs, the fash­ion duo has opened the store with the lat­est col­lec­tion, which fea­tures flo­ral prints, in­sect mo­tifs, heavy em­broi­dery and pas­tel colours.
