Homegrown couture label Amato has opened its first standalone store in Dubai Design District: Amato Luxe. The brand – the brainchild of designer Furne One and textile expert Rashi Ali – started in 2002 in Dubai and has gone on to have huge success globally, dressing Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Katy Perry. Known for outrageous and avantgarde designs, the fashion duo has opened the store with the latest collection, which features floral prints, insect motifs, heavy embroidery and pastel colours.
