As part of the on­go­ing Dubai Food Fes­ti­val, Box­park is host­ing an or­ganic com­mu­nity mar­ket in part­ner­ship with Or­ganic Guild, a group pro­mot­ing the growth of or­ganic goods in the UAE, un­til March 11. Vis­i­tors can sam­ple and buy lo­cally sourced or­ganic fruit and veg­eta­bles, beauty prod­ucts, hand­crafted jew­ellery, as well as Fazaa’s nat­u­ral cof­fee, cre­ated by Shaikh Ham­dan Bin Mo­ham­mad Bin Rashid Al Mak­toum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The mar­ket will also host work­shops teach­ing chil­dren how to grow or­ganic pro­duce at home and the ben­e­fits of or­ganic food – in line with Dubai Mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s Grow your Food cam­paign. The work­shops take place from 2-10pm on week­days and 10am-10pm on week­ends. Vis­i­tors who spend more than Dh200 at any of Box­park’s din­ing out­lets dur­ing the fes­ti­val will be in with a chance of win­ning flights and ac­com­mo­da­tion to the coun­try of the cui­sine they dined at.
