String art is a project where you string coloured threads from point to point to form geo­met­ric pat­terns. The two-hour work­shop con­ducted by Mered­ith Hus­ton will see you sand, var­nish and paint woods and use power tools to drill holes and ham­mer in nails. Art Nights DIFC is back on March 13, from 7pm at the Gate Av­enue, DIFC – the bi-an­nual event’s theme this year is Art Fresco, which aims to re­flect the green­ery of the Dubai International Fi­nan­cial Cen­tre area through in­stal­la­tions, decor and am­biance.
