Colour your­self happy this week­end at the events and par­ties around the coun­try cel­e­brat­ing Holi, the In­dian fes­ti­val of colours, which falls on March 12. To­day the Aks Colour Car­ni­val kicks off at the Rugby Park, Dubai Sports City, where you can play with or­ganic safe colours to the mu­sic of DJs Lemon, Cow­boy, Gau­tam and Beatz, and en­joy grub from food trucks and the Holi Bazaar. The cel­e­bra­tions con­tinue next week­end, too: On March 17, party with colours and stars at the Bheege Chu­nariya Holi 2017, at the Autism Rocks Arena. Also March 17, the Holi Beach Party at Jebel Ali Beach Club throws sun, sand, surf and wa­ter bal­loons into the mix, with mu­sic by In­dian DJs NYK and Lijo sup­ported by lo­cal DJs Sukhi, Benson Nodde and Mad­max.
