Holi Good Fun
Colour yourself happy this weekend at the events and parties around the country celebrating Holi, the Indian festival of colours, which falls on March 12. Today the Aks Colour Carnival kicks off at the Rugby Park, Dubai Sports City, where you can play with organic safe colours to the music of DJs Lemon, Cowboy, Gautam and Beatz, and enjoy grub from food trucks and the Holi Bazaar. The celebrations continue next weekend, too: On March 17, party with colours and stars at the Bheege Chunariya Holi 2017, at the Autism Rocks Arena. Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan (top) and Sonu Sood, music producers Vishal and Shekhar, Indian rapper Badshah and singer Neeti Mohan will be performing. Also March 17, the Holi Beach Party at Jebel Ali Beach Club throws sun, sand, surf and water balloons into the mix, with music by Indian DJs NYK and Lijo supported by local DJs Sukhi, Benson Nodde and Madmax.
