I’ve been mak­ing mac­arons – or at least watch­ing Fri­day read­ers make mac­arons, and stick­ing my fin­gers in bowls of choco­late but­tons and pistachio paste as they laboured. We have just com­pleted the very first Fri­day Master­class, and I hope it’s the first of many to come. Six win­ners and their guests were in­vited into the pro­fes­sional pas­try kitchen at Jumeirah Emi­rates Tow­ers for a pri­vate ses­sion with the amaz­ing Dhany Ar­bendwi Pu­tra – the in-house cake artist and bak­ing know-it-all. It was a great morn­ing – we hope you join us at a Master­class soon!
