STARGAZING

Shelley von Strunckel, one of the world’s top astrologers, writes a weekly forecast for Friday

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

Knowing where you stand, both in terms of ongoing obligations and future plans, is a relief. But during periods of growth, such as this is, it can mean you ignore ideas or offers that are well worth investigating. While, obviously, you can’t pursue everything, what you learn from what you don’t do will prove hugely helpful now and, even more next month.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 21

For ages you’ve been aware elements of your domestic or work life, or both, need a rethink but the time’s never been right. Not only does Wednesday’s New Moon introduce appealing and mostly unexpected developments, but things are falling into place. Still, double-check your facts and explore new options as they arise, and you’ll discover what’s good could soon become a lot better.

VIRGO AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21

Being a cautious Virgo, you pride yourself on your ability to identify those offers that are worth pursuing. But with your ruler Mercury retrograde until early May, your assessment may not be accurate. The solution? Forget your usual analysis. Explore everything, even what seems impractical, and reject nothing. Bizarrely, what seems least promising could work best.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18

Being aware certain practical, career or family issues need attention is one thing. Being able to concentrate on them is another matter. However, the planetary focus shifts to these, which means going into each in depth, talking to those concerned, then turning the ideas into a lasting plan. This means working together with others, something you’ll often find as illuminating as it’s challenging.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 19 – FEBRUARY 17

Over the past weeks there’s been talk of changes in your domestic or working life, or both. While you’ve been aware that with the actual circumstances shifting, you’d have to rethink things, at least a bit, it’s now clear this will be extensive. Tempting as it is to ignore these changes, you owe it to yourself to get involved. Once you do, you’ll realise how thrilling these could be.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

Although the Pisces New Moon took place in late February, it was an eclipse, so the events that arose then and the insights you gained are still raising questions about existing arrangements. While you’ve long been aware of the need to make certain changes, others have come as a shock. If you can’t embrace these, at least explore them. This will clarify how timely those changes will be.
