Char­ity starts at school at the Sun­mar­ket Day – a free-toat­tend char­ity event at Sun­marke School, Dubai, to­day. The fam­ily mar­ket day is an ini­tia­tive to raise funds for the Red Cres­cent through garage sales, re­cy­cling sta­tions and buy-and-sell stalls. There will also be food stalls, ac­tiv­i­ties for kids and a bouncy cas­tle. From 9am-12pm; call 04 423 8900.

Clear out your homes and con­vert clut­ter to char­ity funds at the Sher­a­ton Abu Dhabi’s char­ity flea mar­ket to­mor­row. The ho­tel’s Arzanah Ball­room will turn into a bazaar where you can buy and sell pre-loved clothes, elec­tron­ics, books and toys at bargain prices. The funds col­lected from sales will be do­nated to the Al Jalila Foun­da­tion for treat­ment of child­hood cancer in the UAE. Ex­hibitor ta­bles are avail­able for Dh285 each. Call 02 677 3333.

To­mor­row is the Emi­rates Walk for Autism at Zabeel Park, Gate 3. The an­nual char­ity event, held in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Red Cres­cent, aims to raise aware­ness about autism and in­cludes pa­rades, cul­tural events and en­ter­tain­ment. This year, In­dian celebri­ties will also par­tic­i­pate, in­clud­ing Malay­alam ac­tor Kun­chacko Boban. Reg­is­tra­tion starts at 3pm and events start at 4pm.
