Charity starts at school at the Sunmarket Day – a free-toattend charity event at Sunmarke School, Dubai, today. The family market day is an initiative to raise funds for the Red Crescent through garage sales, recycling stations and buy-and-sell stalls. There will also be food stalls, activities for kids and a bouncy castle. From 9am-12pm; call 04 423 8900.

Clear out your homes and convert clutter to charity funds at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi’s charity flea market tomorrow. The hotel’s Arzanah Ballroom will turn into a bazaar where you can buy and sell pre-loved clothes, electronic­s, books and toys at bargain prices. The funds collected from sales will be donated to the Al Jalila Foundation for treatment of childhood cancer in the UAE. Exhibitor tables are available for Dh285 each. Call 02 677 3333.

Tomorrow is the Emirates Walk for Autism at Zabeel Park, Gate 3. The annual charity event, held in collaborat­ion with the Red Crescent, aims to raise awareness about autism and includes parades, cultural events and entertainm­ent. This year, Indian celebritie­s will also participat­e, including Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban. Registrati­on starts at 3pm and events start at 4pm.
