City Cen­tre Sharjah is ex­pand­ing to add 30 new brands to its shop­ping and din­ing port­fo­lio. Fash­ion brands in­clud­ing Annabelle, Khaadi and Nay­omi will be among those open­ing their doors as part of the Dh260-mil­lion re­de­vel­op­ment plan. The ex­pan­sion – al­ready un­der­way and ex­pected to be com­plete by the end of this year – will see dozens of restau­rants, banks and life­style brands ar­riv­ing in the mall. Happy shop­ping! Burberry’s trav­el­ling ex­hi­bi­tion, The Cape Reimag­ined, is now on show in Dubai un­til Sun­day (May 7). It in­cludes lim­ited-edi­tion ver­sions of the clas­sic Burberry cape. Each one has been hand­made, tak­ing in­spi­ra­tion and tech­niques from the ar­chive. The capes, which were first dis­played in Lon­don, have been trav­el­ling the world since Fe­bru­ary, with Dubai be­ing the last stop on the five-lo­ca­tion tour.
