From Marc Jacobs’ coconut beauty to summer’s must-have nail colours – Lindsay Judge brings you up to date
I’m rather intrigued by the launch of Mouthwash Tablets by Lush. The dissolvable tablets come in three flavours and, yes, they do look a little weird, but there’s no denying I’m going to have a bottle in my handbag at all times! Dh65, available at Lush stores.
BALMAIN X L’OREAL PARIS
Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, has collaborated with L’Oréal Paris to create a lipstick collection featuring 12 key shades inspired by his A/W17 catwalk collection for Balmain. The lipsticks will be available in L’Oréal stockists, with ‘jewel edition’ shades available in Balmain stores. The full collection will be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week in September.
Tweezerman’s new Expertweeze Lighted Slant Tweezers will change your plucking experience. With a built-in LED light, the tool will allow you to see every hair around your brows so you can pluck to perfection. The stainless steel tweezers are designed to make it easier for you to pluck from every angle. Dh160, available at Debenhams.
The latest beauty product from YSL is a lip balm and tint in one. Volupté Tint-in-Balm comes in 12 luminous colours that will give your lips a natural tint while moisturising them at the same time thanks to its oil infusions. Perfect for a natural day make-up look. Dh149, available at YSL beauty counters nationwide.
Marc Jacobs has added limitededition make-up to its collection. The fresh-feeling Coconut Glow range, available only for summer, focuses on giving you a luminous glow and healthy hydrated skin. The range includes a selection of face and tanning products. Our favourites are the Perfect Coconut Setting Mist (Dh160) to give you a 24-hour dewy look, and the Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter (Dh180), which is a golden gel-cream highlighter to light up your cheekbones. Available at Sephora.
