Stay fit and fab this Ramadan with Al Forsan International Sports Resort’s Ramadan bootcamp. The month-long fitness camp will focus on fat-burning exercises such as squats and sit-ups and will provide participants with diet guides, training videos and a personal training app. Members will also get to be part of an online community where they can share fitness tips, ask for advice and provide guidance to others. Global Wellness Day falls on June 10 this year and Hilton Abu Dhabi is joining in by hosting indoor fitness classes from June 4 to 10 with Advantage Sports UAE (below). If you’re more of a wellness junki,e the Find Your Energy Qi Gong workshop at Fairmont The Palm on June 3 will let you recalibrate your qi (life energy) through meditation (above left). The 60-minute classes will be conducted by gurus Laura and Wissam who will guide you into a meditative state utilising soothing sound frequencies of gongs, breathing techniques and visualisations. Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi has a fun alternative to workouts this Ramadan – The Unique Challenge, a physical activity and obstacle course set up in the main exhibition area (above).
