Be in the swim
It’s time to stop paddling around in the shallow end and jump into the deep end of the pool – Wild Wadi Waterpark is hosting the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson on June 22. This eighth edition of the global event will take place in various locations across 20 countries over the course of 24 hours and will see professional swimmers teach basic swimming techniques to participants. At Wild Wadi, the mass lessons – which are free – run from 8-9.30am and get participants and their guardian free access to the park for the rest of the day. Last year’s swimming lesson attracted more than 100 children and adults who learnt basic swimming techniques. Visit wlsl.org.
