400g beef mince 100g ched­dar cheese, grated ¼ cup ketchup, plus ad­di­tional to serve 2 tbsp mus­tard 1 tsp gar­lic, minced ½ small red onion, minced 2 tbsp olive oil TO SERVE 12 small burger buns, sliced 12 let­tuce leaves 12 cu­cum­ber slices Place the mince, cheese, ketchup, mus­tard, gar­lic and onion in a bowl and com­bine well with a fork. Shape the mix­ture into 12 pat­ties and chill in the fridge for at least 30 min­utes. Heat the oil in a large fry­ing pan and cook the burg­ers for around four min­utes on each side, un­til cooked through. Top each burger bun base with a patty, let­tuce, cu­cum­ber and ketchup. Add the top of the bun and serve.
