ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 18

While there’s no avoiding the issues indicated by Sunday’s clash between your ruler Mars and the manipulative Pluto, resist the temptation to go to battle over these immediately. Take it slow and you’ll gain a better understanding of your own feelings, where others stand and facts you were unaware of. This approach leads to discussions as unexpected as, ultimately, they’ll be fruitful.

TAURUS APRIL 19 – MAY 19

This week’s often contentious situations are offering an opportunity to raise and discuss certain persistent problems. Knowing that, instead of sidestepping these matters, ask others for their views. This will trigger conversations that will either resolve those problems or start informative conversations. These could take you beyond those problems into new, and worthwhile, ideas and pursuits.

GEMINI MAY 20 – JUNE 20

The current intense emphasis on practical matters may have been dull, but by now you’ll have imposed order on elements of your life that have seemed hopelessly out of control. Next come decisions based on what you’ve learnt. But it’s not all seriousness. Wednesday’s move by the loving, charming Venus into Gemini, takes place in time to remind you of life’s pleasures.

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

You may already have stood your ground, with others or in certain tricky situations, but several still need your attention. Or, alternatively, events could demand you think and act swiftly. Whatever the case, with the warrior planet Mars in Cancer, you’ve got the best possible back up. For now, focus on stating your case. Any details or remaining issues can be dealt with later.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 21

True, you sometimes complain some people expect you to deal with all sorts of details and duties they could well handle. Yet, often you’re relieved, since that ensures things will be done right. Yet now events are forcing you to relinquish control entirely, and focus on other matters. Worrying as this seems initially, you’ll be amazed how much more relaxed even previously tense relationships become.

VIRGO AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21

True, you sometimes complain certain people expect you to deal with all sorts of details and duties they could well handle. Yet, often you’re relieved, since that ensures things will be done right. Yet now events are forcing you to relinquish control entirely, and focus on other matters. Worrying as this seems initially, you’ll be amazed how much more relaxed even previously tense relationships become.

LIBRA SEPTEMBER 22 – OCTOBER 22

Recently you’ve been stuck in situations that, while vital and productive, left you trapped dealing tedious practicalities. While, to your relief, this pattern breaks up midweek, its focus only shifts. While you’re still discussing some of these matters, you’ll now be using what you’ve learnt to convince certain previously uncooperative individuals to discuss new ideas and to make much needed changes.

SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21

Although you were born under one of the powerful signs of the zodiac, you see no reason to reveal that strength unnecessarily. You may already have been aware of certain tensions building, and will have thought through, and discussed the issues in question. Still, Sunday’s clash between Mars and your ruler Pluto gives you no option but to take a firm, if not ferocious, stance.

SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20

Often you’re able to sidestep potential clashes by raising the issues in question in a casual manner. But with things moving swiftly and circumstances springing up suddenly, you’ll have little choice but to think and act quickly. While certain worriers might object now, they’ll soon realise the measures you took deal with problems were far more efficient than they’d conceived possible.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18

You’ve already sensed changes are coming. Now, they appear, first as powerful insights and dramas, many emotional. Initially, focus on exploring your options. Still, avoid finalising decisions, simply because the planetary events prompting these, the Capricorn Full Moon, isn’t until June 9, the Sun’s clash with Pluto, is a day later, on the 10th, which means yet more excitement is heading your way.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 19 – FEBRUARY 17

If ever there was a time to choose your battles, it’s now. While certain situations seem pressing, that’s mostly because of issues that don’t directly involve you but, rather, have to do with those you care about. Give them advice, then withdraw, allowing them to proceed without further discussion with you. This will avoid tensions now but also sidesteps potentially more serious clashes later.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

Dealing with those who demand firm commitments in situations can be exhausting during uncomplicated periods, but is seriously tricky now, while there’s so much in flux. Yet, bizarrely, being forced to analyse these matters in sufficient depth to make any sort of promise proves amazingly informative and gets you thinking about your priorities now, just when you’ll soon have decisions to make.
