Most of the time, when health and well-be­ing are men­tioned, the fo­cus is on ex­actly that, on the phys­i­cal body. As an earth sign, you have an in­stinct for what’s good for you and what isn’t, and you’ll of­ten chose to eat wisely and try to in­clude ex­er­cise in your daily regime, even if it’s walk­ing or tak­ing the stairs in­stead of the lift.

How­ever, there’s an­other fac­tor that’s also cen­tral to your well-be­ing, and that’s your mood or, bet­ter put, en­sur­ing there’s joy in your life. This bal­ance is im­por­tant for ev­ery­body. How­ever, be­cause you some­times get so wrapped up in your obli­ga­tions or work, you can for­get to fo­cus on, and to savour, those el­e­ments that make life worth liv­ing. For you it’s about what you think and dwell on, and notic­ing what brings you joy, as much as diet or fit­ness. View each of these as equal el­e­ments of your health regime, and you’ll not only re­main in good shape, you’ll be able to en­joy life. This will have a pos­i­tive ef­fect on your me­tab­o­lism, and will ac­tu­ally mo­ti­vate you to do more and, whether it’s at work or at home, to tackle those ac­tiv­i­ties with joy.
