I’ve been on a mission to find Mexican corn tortillas – the fresh, soft kind you’d use to make a taco, or serve with eggs for breakfast (they’re glutenfree!). In lieu of making them myself (I might!) I picked up a stack at Taco Barrio in Silicon Oasis – they have a machine cranking out the warm, scented flatbreads. I used them for a shrimp taco night. Natalie Long, editor TV is the blank thing that dominates my living room. However, this week that’s changed. I’m now obsessed with White Gold, a TV series set in Essex circa 1983 (yes, that’s Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick). It follows the antics of three double-glazing salesmen who will do anything to clinch the deal. The music is on point, as is their banter and the ’80s fashion. Cheeky and charming!
