Chef and bon vi­vant An­thony Bour­dain is one food writer who should write thrillers, I be­lieve. I just started read­ing The Nasty Bits and was floored by his noir-ish style of de­scrib­ing kitchens, chefs, flavours and cuisines across the world. And if his books are ever turned into films, he can star in them too. Mri­nal Shekar, deputy ed­i­tor While the world has been be­rat­ing the film adap­ta­tion of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series, I quite en­joyed the fan­tasy epic – prob­a­bly be­cause I’ve never read the books but that said, the film is in­trigu­ing enough to make me want to read the en­tire series. Oh, as a bonus, there are a num­ber of Easter eggs hid­den through­out the film ref­er­enc­ing other Stephen King movies that fans will get a kick out of. I know I did!
