this nutritionist wants you to eat raw veggies

...and she wants you to do it every single day

Good (UAE) - - REAL LIFE -

iI know. We’ve heard it a thousand times. But the truth is, you need to eat your veggies. I find it hard to believe when people don’t like salads or find them boring. Salads are a great way to get your veggies in and there are no rules. I’m not talking about a boring lettuce and tomato salad, not that there’s anything wrong with lettuce or tomatoes. There are just so many options and sometimes we just need to think outside the box.

In a world filled with dietary recommendations, every individual benefits greatly in discovering what individualised method best suits their body and lifestyle. Having said that,

I do believe that a plant-based diet benefits most people – meaning most of your daily food should come from plant sources, whether you are vegan or not.

Eating a big salad daily is an easy way to care for ourselves by ensuring we get the required daily dose of beautifully nutritious phytonutrients, those health-promoting compounds that come from plants, as well as fiber, which is the indigestible portion of plants that feed our gut bacteria and ensure proper elimination. That’s a quick dose of science, but what really matters is taste.

So let’s shake things up when it comes to making salads. Enter the spiraliser. It’s so easy to use and such a fun way to eat your veggies. It’ll even make your salad Instagram worthy. Don’t forget to tag me.
