German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim has promoted Enrique Manzoni to lead its operations in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. Manzoni is a company veteran having served for more than 28 years. He has been credited with driving strategic business growth, fostering innovation and expanding manufacturing facilities for the firm. In his new position he will continue to contribute to its growth while tapping into potential market sectors.
Cyber-security group Kaspersky Lab has appointed Maxim Frolov as managing director of its Middle East, Turkey and Africa division. In his new role, Frolov will be responsible for building partnerships with regional enterprises and small and medium sized organisations. He has more than 18 years of sales and managerial experience with expertise in the IT field spanning sales, marketing and distribution. Frolov previously worked at Microsoft Russia and American data storage company Seagate Technology.
International law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Mohammad Tbaishat as its Middle East partner. Tbaishat previously worked at Freshfields law fim in Dubai for more than 12 years and has gained regional expertise particularly in the field of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate consultancy. He also has a strong background in the oil and gas sector, with a client base including government departments, successful family businesses and multinationals.
Global consulting company Mercer has selected Mustafa Faizani as chief executive officer of its Middle East, India, Turkey and Africa division. He will also serve as CEO of Mercer UAE. Faizani has worked with Mercer for more than a decade and held various leadership positions including chief financial officer of Mercer’s growth markets in the region. The company says it is confident that Faizani will contribute to its success by assessing new markets that it can expand into.
