Mubadala Investment: The government of Abu Dhabi completed the merger of its top investment funds to create Mubadala Investment Co – a company with assets totalling around $125bn. The new fund was formed by merging Mubadala Development Co and International Petroleum Investment Co. It became the world’s 14th largest sovereign fund, according to the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute.
