Boards of directors across UAE federal entities approved
Cabinet also endorses formation of advisory committee on the UAE pavilion at Expo 2020
The UAE Cabinet approved changes in a number of boards of directors across different federal entities.
The Cabinet approved the reappointment of the members of the Emirates Investment Authority Board headed by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and the membership of Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, as Vice-Chairman, as well as Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Ahmad Bin Byat, Eisa Mohammad Al Suwaidi, and Kaltham Hamad Al Gafli, in addition to the membership of Hareb Masoud Al Darmaki, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Mohammad Hamad Al Muhairi, as new members.
It also approved the formation of the Board of Directors of Al Etihad Export Credit Company under the chairmanship of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, and the membership of Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy. The Board of Directors also includes the Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, and Marwan Ahmad Al Ali, Dr Abdul Rahman Mohammad Ali Al Shayeb, Saeed Mohammad Al Awadi, Yousuf Abdullah Al Awadi, Medeya Salem Al Roum, Saif Mohammad Al Shehhi and Abdullah Mohammad Al Yousuf.
It also approved the formation of an advisory committee on the UAE pavilion at the Expo 2020 under the chairmanship of Dr Sultan Bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and Chairman of the National Media Council, and the membership of Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Bin Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Shamma Sohail Faris Al Mazroui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Shaikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Mohammad Khalifa Al Mubarak, Mona Al Merri, Zaki Nusseibeh, Hilal Al Merri, Mansour Al Mansouri, in addition to the representative of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and the representative of the Shaikha Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation.
It also approved restructuring of Zayed University Board of Directors under chairmanship of Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance and President of the University, Riyad Al Mubarak, and Sami Dha’en Al Qamzi, Ahmad Bin Byat, Ali Rashid Qanas Al Ketbi, Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Maryam Mohammad Al Rumaithi and Ali Hamooda Al Daheri.
