FNC Speaker spends Eid with Emirati troops in Yemen
Dr Al Qubaisi thanks Emirati soldiers for their role in restoring stability in Yemen
Dr Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), spent the first day of Eid Al Fitr with Emirati soldiers in Yemen.
In addition to Emirati soldiers, Dr Al Qubaisi also spent time with soldiers of the Coalition forces from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Sudan and Yemen.
Al Qubaisi expressed immense pride in the UAE’s leadership, people and brave soldiers who are helping their brothers in Yemen regain their legitimate rights, as well as liberating the country from the hands of those who interfere with its security and stability.
Dr Al Qubaisi said that such massive efforts would contribute to building and restoring hope in Yemen.
She conveyed to the soldiers the UAE leadership and people’s greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
“All Emiratis are forever grateful to you. Today, the young and old, men and women, are celebrating Eid knowing full well that we are safe thanks to the wise UAE leadership, and thanks to you, our brave UAE Armed Forces soldiers. It is thanks to the efforts that you exert on a daily basis, and thanks to your honourable defence and immense sacrifices in all fields and fronts that we are able to live in safety,” Dr Al Qubaisi said. “You are celebrating Eid away from your families, so that we can celebrate Eid with our families and loved ones. But I am here today, I am here to spend Eid with you, and to let you know that our hearts are with you,” she added.
Dr Al Qubaisi conveyed her gratitude and thanks to members of the Arab Coalition forces from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Sudan and Yemen for their efforts and sacrifices for the sake of the security and safety of the people in the Gulf and Arab world, and to help the people of Yemen.
Dr Al Qubaisi reiterated her appreciation and gratitude for the honourable performance of the UAE’s Armed Forces in all fields. She pointed out that she witnessed high alertness and professionalism and exceptional organisation during her visit to a number of military sites.
Dr Al Qubaisi added that this reflects that the UAE will spare no effort in supporting, preparing and protecting all its soldiers and supporting other Arab forces.
