Manager accused of groping cleaner

manager accused of groping a house cleaner yesterday pleaded not guilty before the Dubai Court of First Instance. His lawyer asked presiding judge Shaikha Hamad to hear the Filipina victim’s statement when the court reconvenes on July 8.

In the March incident, the 46-year-old Egyptian manager allegedly touched the cleaner inappropriately as she tidied his flat.

When she yelled at him, he claimed that it happened by mistake. The Filipina called the police when she came out and a police patrol arrested the manager. (Staff Report)
