Man breaks TV sets at shop over Dh100 row

Egyptian man broke several television sets in a repair shop in the Al Ghuwair area in Sharjah as he fought with the shop owner who allegedly failed to fix his TV set.

The man, 53, paid the technician Dh100 to repair his TV set. Back at home he found it did not work.

He went back to the shop and ended up arguing with the technician. When the shop owner refused to give his money back, he angrily broke several television sets in the shop.

Both men sustained minor injuries in the fight and were taken to hospital for treatment. (Staff Report)
