Journey of a hero
Indian television and stage actor Rakesh Bedi will return to Dubai with a performance of his hit show, Massage, where he will play 24 characters.
The event, which will be held on November 23 at Emirates International School, features Bedi playing Happy Kumar, a common man who comes to the big city of Mumbai with his pockets empty but for a dream of being a hero. In his desperation, he is forced to become a masseur and encounters varied clients who represent different facets of Indian society.
Bedi will be playing the roles of the clients as well, which will include a Punjabi film producer, a South Indian actress and a politician.
Bedi is best known for his roles in films such as Chashme Buddoor, along with the television shows, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Shrimaan Shrimati and Yes Boss.
Tickets for the show are now on sale online, with prices starting at Dh75.
