StartAD picking winners for incubation programme

Start-ups have raised $50m in investment so far

The startAD support programme for start-ups is showcasing ten of its investment­s, all of which have UAE nationals as one of the founding team members.

Since its inception, startAD’s participat­ing start-ups have raised $50 million in investment, secured over 50 projects and created more than 250 jobs globally.

“A core focus for startAD has been advancing home-grown tech innovation­s developed by UAE nationals through the Research Commercial­ization Summer Incubator programme, and the Ibtikari incubation, which is a partnershi­p between startAD and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Developmen­t,” it said in a statement.
