Start-ups have raised $50m in investment so far
The startAD support programme for start-ups is showcasing ten of its investments, all of which have UAE nationals as one of the founding team members.
Since its inception, startAD’s participating start-ups have raised $50 million in investment, secured over 50 projects and created more than 250 jobs globally.
“A core focus for startAD has been advancing home-grown tech innovations developed by UAE nationals through the Research Commercialization Summer Incubator programme, and the Ibtikari incubation, which is a partnership between startAD and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development,” it said in a statement.
