Oman to lift total lockdown tomorrow
Oman will end a twoweek lockdown between its governorates and reduce hours of a night curfew tomorrow.
The lockdown, which was enforced from July 25 until August 8, will be lifted from 6am tomorrow. The lockdown had banned Eid gatherings in an effort to contain the outbreak.
Night curfew will now run from 9pm until 5am daily until August 15. However, the governorate of Dhofar will be in lockdown until further notice.
Oman yesterday reported 427 new cases, bringing total infections to 80,713.
Four more deaths took fatalities to 492. Total recoveries have reached 70,910.
