MOVES LIKE JAGUAR
Jaguar has announced that its I-PACE electric SUV will hit the road in 2018.
Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in around four seconds, and boasting a range from a single charge of 500 kilometres, it will feature twin electric motors and a powerful lithium-ion battery pack.
The motors and batteries can be so efficiently packaged that the I-PACE will boast 530 litres of luggage space in the boot, plus additional space under the bonnet.
Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design, said: “The I-PACE concept represents the next generation of electric vehicle design.
“It’s a dramatic, future-facing cab-forward design with a beautiful interior – the product of authentic Jaguar DNA, electric technology and contemporary craftsmanship.”.
