The TECOM Group has announced details of its latest innovation centre for Dubai’s design and fashion industry.
in5 is located within Dubai Design District (d3) and aims to provide industry-focused training and mentorship to members, along with dynamic co-working spaces, offices and community areas that inspire and encourage creativity.
It will also be home to a unique prototyping lab offering 3D printers, electronics and modern machinery for designers working with metals, wood, plastics and textiles.
Members will also have access to a library of raw materials and design work stations where concepts can be developed into prototypes.
Malek Al Malek, CEO of TECOM Business Parks, said: “The latest in5 initiative is a much-needed addition to the emirate’s start-up ecosystem and we are proud to be creating a new standard for entrepreneurs, who with knowledge transfer and the support to innovate in specialised areas, will be empowered for success.”
