Style notes

This stunning property hints at a French colonial feel in the public spaces, with an earthy palette that creates a serene, peaceful ambience. Custom finishes using local materials include the hand-carved wooden side tables and headboards, rough-edge stone coffee tables, rustic flooring and woven rugs, which combine beautifully with antiques sourced from local markets. In this bathroom, the symmetry of the twin basins and hanging paper lights ensure the focal point is the fabulous, lime-finished wooden bathtub.

Perched on the doorstep of Angkor Wat, Siem Reap’s phenomenal World Heritage Site, this luxury resort features a village-like cluster of villas on stilts reflecting traditional Cambodian style and mystique.
