THE HOUSE HOTEL BOSPHORUS
The ornate wall, ceiling and fireplace surround in the lounge is offset with marquetry floors and sleek mid-century furniture. In the suites, high ceilings, bevelled mouldings and a glass-walled bathroom with privacy blind are lavish accents that add an exclusive feel. Emulating the domed mosques of the city, the bespoke lattice headboard is a fitting accent.
This Ottoman mansion overlooking the Bosphorus has been lovingly restored by the Turkish design studio Autoban to combine historical glamour with contemporary design.
