Go clas­si­cal with Chi­nese quar­tet

Dubai-based in­ter­na­tional vi­o­lin­ist, Min Yang will be team­ing up with the China Phil­har­monic String Quar­tet for an evening of clas­si­cal ren­di­tions in aid of Larch­field Chil­dren’s Home in Tan­za­nia, at the Wal­dorf As­to­ria, Palm Jumeirah, on April 24.

The quar­tet fea­tur­ing Chen Yun (1st Vi­o­lin), Yan Ke (2nd Vi­o­lin), Mao Xin Guang (Vi­ola), and Guan Zheng Yue (Cello), are all lead­ing soloists from the China Na­tional Phil­har­monic Orches­tra. The gala is in aid of Gulf for Good’s char­ity project in Tan­za­nia, Larch­field Chil­dren’s Home, which is be­ing built for chil­dren who have been aban­doned by their par­ents, ei­ther due to dis­ease or death.

The con­cert will com­mence at 8pm fol­lowed by three-course din­ner and bev­er­ages at 9pm. Door open at 7.30pm.

Tick­ets are priced at Dhs600 per per­son or a ta­ble for 10 peo­ple (Dhs6,000).
