Flowers 94.7 FM hits UAE airwaves

dubai — Listeners of Malayalam radio stations are in for a major treat with the launch of Flowers Radio in the frequency 94.7 FM.

Flowers acquired the studio operated by Dolphin Recording. Flowers 94.7 is all set to change the Malayalam FM trend with its team of young and dynamic RJs on board. Led by the radio veteran Ajith Menon, who has got in-depth experience in the Radio Industry, the station will be providing round the clock live programs, in a refreshing manner in the UAE.

Announcing this in a press release Ajith Menon, chief operating officer, Flowers Internatio­nal said that the team is all set to bring the much needed rejuvenati­on for radio listeners in this region.

“The UAE in general and Dubai in particular is a marketplac­e where radio has got deep penetratio­n. There is always a captive audience for the radio on account of the fact that people spend lot of hours on commuting. Any radio station that comes up with innovative concepts will be able to attract listeners. We are confident that with our interestin­g range of programmes we will be able to connect well with the listeners,” he added.

“All our programs are conceptual­ised to target audience of diverse age group and will be very trendy. Infotainme­nt will be provided round the clock,” he added.
