Ye­men Cholera cases may hit 1m

The hu­man­i­tar­ian sit­u­a­tion in Ye­men is a “catas­tro­phe” and cholera cases could reach a mil­lion by year-end, the ICRC said.

Alexandre Faite, head of the ICRC team, said the war­ring sides were us­ing dis­pro­por­tion­ate force, caus­ing “very ex­ces­sive” civil­ian ca­su­al­ties.
