Mohammed to hon­our 46 Emi­rati pioneers

dubai — His High­ness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Mak­toum, Vice-Pres­i­dent and Prime Min­is­ter of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has di­rected au­thor­i­ties con­cerned to hon­our 46 Emi­ratis who ex­celled in the hu­man­i­tar­ian and phil­an­thropic sec­tor in the UAE. The move comes as part of the UAE Pioneers Award 2017.

The fourth edi­tion of the Pioneers Award co­in­cides with cel­e­bra­tions of the UAE Na­tional Day and the Year of Giv­ing.

On the oc­ca­sion, Sheikh Mohammed said: ”The UAE is a role model in the char­ity work and still sets hon­ourable ex­am­ples in giv­ing.”

Mem­bers of the pub­lic who are in­ter­ested in nom­i­nat­ing pioneers can sub­mit their nom­i­na­tion via www.uae­pi­oneers.ae be­fore Novem­ber 24.

The achieve­ments of those hon­oured will be doc­u­mented in the Cab­i­net and their bi­ogra­phies and win­ning ini­tia­tives will be writ­ten down in a special book, which will be pub­lished later. — Wam
