Re­hab pro­gramme for el­derly Emi­ratis

dubai — El­derly Emi­ratis will be pro­vided med­i­cal sup­port and home care ser­vices un­der a new agree­ment signed by the Min­istry of Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment (CDA).

The min­istry signed a mem­o­ran­dum of co­op­er­a­tion with Emi­rates Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion and Home­care Cen­tre, a sub­sidiary of Emi­rates Health­care Com­pany, to sup­port the UAE fam­i­lies with so­cial care and de­vel­op­ment.The cen­tre will also par­tic­i­pate in so­cial ac­tiv­i­ties or­gan­ised for special needs peo­ple and the el­derly, in co­op­er­a­tion with the min­istry.

Sana Mo­ham­mad Suhail, un­der­sec­re­tary at the CDA, said: “We aim to pro­vide the high­est qual­ity so­cial ser­vices, while de­vel­op­ing strate­gic al­liances be­tween fed­eral and lo­cal gov­ern­ment en­ti­ties along with the pri­vate sec­tor to up­lift fam­i­lies in need.”

Emi­rates Health­care Com­pany will work closely with the min­istry in de­vel­op­ing in­te­grated ser­vices and pro­grammes through its Re­hab and Home Care Ser­vices.
