Celebrity chefs to share secrets during Sharjah Int’l Book Fair
sharjah — International chefs from around the world will spill their delicious secrets during the 37th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) that kicks off on October 31. The 11-day fair will host chefs from India, the UK, the US, Australia, France, Japan, Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon and other countries.
Popular names from India include Ranveer Brar, chef, TV show host, judge and food stylist; Lathika George, cookbook writer, landscape designer and environmentalist; Ancy Mathew Pala, whose reci- pe book with around 150 recipes made using jackfruit, Chakka Vibhavangal, has found the humble tropical fruit international appeal; and Shipra Khanna, celebrity chef.
Hatha Yoga teacher and whole foods chef from Australia, Lee Holmes; executive chef, author and restaurateur with 20 years’ experience, Hassan M’souli from Morocco; Australian-born Egyptian chef and culinary trainer, Dyna El Deif; expert food consultant Michele Salhab from Lebanon; and chef Badiyah Khayr Al Din from Syria are the other big names who will showcase their skills at the book fair.
