Luxury car gutted in RAK fire
ras al khaimah — A luxury car caught fire “for no apparent reason” in Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Beeh Valley on Saturday morning. “The flames first started in the engine located at the rear part of the car, and spread to other parts. The blaze quickly engulfed the entire vehicle,” a source said.
On being alerted of the fire, the central operations room of the RAK Police immediately dispatched firefighters, an ambulance, paramedics and rescue teams to the site.
“Firefighters managed to put out the fire. No casualties were reported,” civil defence sources said. “They then cooled down the car, mainly the rear part, to prevent the fire from starting again.”
The case has been referred to the bodies concerned to identify the reason behind the blaze.
