Feel the Burn @ Real Pilates
The Dubai-based sanctuary of wellness, Real Pilates, has added a popular new class to the timetable. Body Burn is a unique training programme designed for clients who want to improve strength, power, endurance and agility, without having to go to a traditional gym environment.
Body Burn is a high-energy class that combines functional movement exercises with Pilates. During this class participants will get their heart rate up with a series of short intervals consisting of squats, lunges and other full body exercises, that are designed to challenge the cardiovascular system as well as improve endurance. At the same time, Pilates movements will also be taught, with an emphasis on abdominals, lower back and upper body strengthening. Exercises will include push ups, ab curls and side bends as well as more Pilates ‘favourites’ like the Hundred, Shoulder Bridges and Roll Up.
The instructors put a lot of emphasis on technique throughout the workout to reduce the risk of injury and gain maximum results.
