Adipec Awards recog­nise tal­ent across in­dus­try

ABU DHABI: Top tal­ent across the oil and gas in­dus­try was recog­nised at the Adipec Awards last night, which were held in Abu Dhabi.

Dubai Supreme Coun­cil of En­ergy were an­nounced as win­ners of the Driv­ing Per­for­mance and Efi­ciency to En­hance Cost Op­ti­mi­sa­tion award, as the judges recog­nised the team’s com­mit­ment to its in­te­grated strat­egy, which looks for­ward to Dubai In­dus­trial Strat­egy, 2030.

Other lead­ing names from across the en­ergy sec­tor were all rep­re­sented at last night’s event which shone a light on best busi­ness prac­tices, team­work, for­ward think­ing, so­cial aware­ness and in­di­vid­ual tal­ent.

The award for Tech­ni­cal In­no­va­tion and Re­search of the Year went to Saudi Aramco, along with the WWT In­ter­na­tional Best Dig­i­tal Trans­for­ma­tion Project, recog­nis­ing the con­glo­morate’s suc­cess in achiev­ing the irst in­tel­li­gent car­bon cap­ture and stor­age project in the Mid­dle East.

The next award was for So­cial Con­tri­bu­tion and in-coun­try Value went to OMV Pak­istan for its Women’s Em­pow­er­ment Pro­gramme, “Mak­ing His­tory and Chang­ing the Fu­ture”.

The inal award went to Saudi Aramco’s Sarah Al­saif, who was ac­claimed as young Adipec En­gi­neer.
